Blooming Day

Blooming Day is celebrated during the Dawnwake cycle, marking the season when growth surges across Aeonyra and the land awakens from stillness into motion. Blossoms unfurl almost overnight, thick greenery spreads across roads and ruins alike, and warm winds carry drifting petals and spores through the air. It is viewed as a time of renewal, adaptation, and quiet beginnings.

Festivities during Blooming Day are lively but deeply rooted in tradition. Communities weave flowering vines and thorned branches into homes, pathways, and gathering spaces, symbolizing the beauty and hardship that accompany growth. Music, open-air feasts, and ceremonial plantings are common, particularly in Thistledrift, where entire settlements seem to bloom alongside the season itself. Though joyful, Blooming Day also carries a subtle reminder: growth cannot be stopped once it has taken root.
